Bambarakanda Falls 🏞️

Bambarakanda Falls is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka, with a height of 263 meters. It is ranked as the 299th highest waterfall in the world. This waterfall is located in Kalupahana in the Badulla District. Bambarakanda Falls is formed by a tributary of the Walawe River, known as Kuda Oya. Around the waterfall, there is a forest filled with pine trees, adding to its natural beauty. It is a well-known tourist attraction. The waterfall was discovered in 1982 by Professor Nethula.
